Bailey Mountain: Full Circle
Please join the Richard L Hoffman Foundation and Madison County Arts Council Friday, May 4th, 5:00 - 7:30 pm at Zuma Coffee in downtown Marshall for a celebration of our beloved Bailey Mountain.
Bailey Mountain: Full Circle will take you on a brief tour of Bailey Mountain's rich past while inviting you to celebrate and support Bailey Mountain's bright future.
Laura Boggess and Ryan Bell from Mars Hill University will join Roger Howell, Madison county's own musician and storyteller extraordinaire, for a celebration of the past through images, stories, songs, and fiddle tunes.
Historic photographs of Bailey Mountain will be exhibited alongside recent photographs taken by documentary photographer Susan Patrice who spent a year photographing Bailey Mountain with handbuilt cameras that photograph round. Susan Patrice will be announcing exciting news about upcoming Bailey Mountain projects.
Photographs from the exhibition will be sold off the walls at the end of the evening to help support art and environmental education on Bailey Mountain.
