Thanks to volunteers for trailwork
by Bailey Mountain - We’re supremely grateful for the 13 or so folks who came out yesterday and helped put in some significant trail work on Bailey Mtn! We had participants ranging from old and new local Mars Hill community and high school and college students. And a big thank you to Hunter Sharp and other “Trail Geezers” for the experienced and safe direction and tools. Truly, yall have the gratitude of current and future generations of hikers. Stay in touch if you’d like to help in the future. The “Geezers” trailworking group consistently meets at the Smith Farm Wednesday mornings at 8:30 if anyone would ever like to join.
