Wellness Video Challenge
Wellness Video Challenge
Teams! You have spent a good deal of time together sharing wellness, doing wellness, meeting wellness, and being wellness. We think you are in an EXCELLENT position to share with our MHU community how you define wellness… and earn points while you do it. Here’s the challenge:
- Make a video that is between 30 seconds and 1.5 minutes in length. You can use your phone to make your video.
- This is a team challenge, so we are looking for you to include as many members of your team as possible. You don’t have to appear as yourself (e.g., costumes welcome), but we hope you’ll make an appearance!
- Focus your video on what wellness means to your team. Express and illustrate wellness creatively: make it funny, inspiring, touching, memorable.
- Ensure that any person recorded in your video has given permission in advance of being included. In other words, no one should be filmed without their knowledge in your video.
- When you’re done, upload the video to YouTube.
- You might need to create an account before you upload the video. You can learn about this here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/57407?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en.
- It is up to you and your team to learn how to create an account and upload your video. This is not something Wellable can help you do.
- Set your video to “Unlisted” or “Public” so that it can be viewed by others.
- Email your video to wellness@mhu.edu by September 30th at midnight. In your email include:
- A YouTube weblink to your video. It must be uploaded to YouTube.
- List all of the members of your team that appear in the video. Each team member that appears in your video will earn 1000 points.
- Include this statement: "We verify that we are the creators of all the content of this video and that all people in the video agreed to be part of the video before they were recorded."
- Your participating team members will earn points if:
- Video is between 30 seconds and 1.5 minutes long.
- Video focuses on what wellness means to your team.
- Video is uploaded through YouTube as an Unlisted or Public video.
- Email lists all team members who appear in the video and includes the verification statement.
- All videos submitted may be added to an official MHU YouTube playlist.
